Intro
The Yunnan region, whose head in the north rises to the Tibetan plateau and its south is waddling its feet in the jungles of Southeast Asia, is one of the most beautiful and diverse of all the provinces of China, and certainly the most colorful of them. Blooming canola flowers in phosphorescent yellow, flooded rice terraces that shimmer in a multitude of colors against the setting sun, mountains of red soil, and numerous villages of dozens of different ethnic groups dotting the varied landscapes with a multitude of colors, languages, and customs.
